Anyone hear built a Bottlehead Crack? Love to hear what your experiences have been. Detailed, warm, spacious. I use a MacMini-eastern electric DAC-Modwright pre-amp to the Crack and with Sennheiser HD600. I highly recommend this amp but not for in the ear monitors. Great amp bottlehead designed; no need for me to try other. This is a quick build log of Bottlehead Crack OTL tube amplifier with some pictures and little stories. I bought the Crack (and its Speedball upgrade) after I got my hands on a pair of Massdrop x Sennheiser HD 6XX Headphones. I waited until Black Friday to grab it from their website for 15% off. The reason I was looking at the bottlehead was because a found one for a good deal on the secondary market, so it is an original crack, used, but comes with the upgraded cables, I can't disclose the location of the amp, for obvious reasons, but let's say I could get it for around $200 CAD or 150USD.
